Being born in Pathsala is my biggest pride, and though life has taken me far, my heart has always remained rooted here. Rongali Bihu, especially as celebrated by the Pathsala Rongali Bihu Sanmiloni, is not just a festival — it is our identity, our pride, and a symbol of togetherness.

For the past 45 memorable years, I have had the honour of witnessing this celebration grow from humble beginnings to becoming one of the most respected cultural platforms in Assam. From the early days of small gatherings under open skies to today’s grand stages and talented performances — the journey has been emotional and inspiring. I have always felt blessed to walk beside this movement, supporting it not just as a contributor but as a part of its soul.

What makes Pathsala’s Bihu truly special is the way it blends tradition with modernity, emotion with discipline, and joy with responsibility. I believe this is only possible because of the love and dedication shown by each person involved — from the organizers to the youngest performers.
