I may have left Pathsala 34 years ago, and for the last 25, I’ve lived in the United States—but no matter where life takes me, no matter whom I meet, the very first thing I say with pride is, “I am from Pathsala. 

That one word—Pathsala—carries my childhood, my dreams, my roots. It’s not just where I was born—it’s who I am. It beats with my heart. It flows through my blood. It lives in my soul.

Rongali Bihu in Pathsala is not just a celebration—it’s a living river of joy and tradition. It flows through time, carrying the laughter of our elders, the vibrant hopes of our youth, and stories of our people. Every note of the pepa, every step of the dance, every smile in the crowd tells a story—our story.
